Our Story

Where We Started

The Immersion Lab was born from a belief that leadership doesn’t grow in echo chambers. It grows when curious minds step outside their norm and meet others who see the world differently.

More than 23 years ago, our founder, Glynnis Rengger, imagined a different kind of learning, one rooted not in theory, but in discovery. Her vision? To help leaders make better decisions by hunting for insights in unexpected places.

From Silicon Valley’s early tech pioneers to the biotech corridors of Boston, and innovation hubs across 60+ countries, we’ve spent two decades designing journeys for bold leaders ready to challenge how they think, lead, and act.

Insight is the currency of future value creation and as the world pivots into a completely unknown and unpredictable landscape the Immersion Lab is committed to helping leaders become insight hunters, now more than ever.

Our Manifesto

STAY FIERCELY ENTREPRENEURIAL AND CUSTOMER FOCUSED.

DO GREAT WORK WITH GREAT PEOPLE FOR GREAT CLIENTS.

HAVE COURAGE TO TRUST AND TRY NEW THINGS – FOR US AND OUR CLIENTS.

SEEK DIVERSITY AND OPPORTUNITIES TO COLLABORATE.

VALUE A WORK/LIFE BALANCE AND AUTHENTIC PEOPLE TO BE OUR BEST SELVES.

GIVE BACK.

“An insight isn’t really usable unless we process it ourselves. It’s only then we are able to make new connections, see new patterns and reimagine a new story for ourselves and our organizations.“
